Description of Pictures: One hundred authors -- and their books -- will be under one roof at the National Press Club, just in time for the gift-giving season. Navigate national politics and history, whisk your way to tasty treats, or laugh with your little one during the 2019 Book Fair and Authors’ Night on Friday, Nov. 1.
Book Fair guests can shop titles and meet the authors behind incredible nonfiction and fiction tales in more than a dozen genres. It’s your chance to mingle with your favorite author and discover new ones, including Jason Rezaian, "Prisoner;" Marlin Fitzwater, "Calm Before the Storm;" Dorothy Butler Gilliam, "Trailblazer;" and James Reston Jr., "The Impeachment Diary."
The fair will feature a robust children’s section, along with selections in cooking, sports, fiction, health and medicine, history, law, lifestyle, mystery, psychology, sports, travel, true crime, and regional interests. The National Press Club Journalism Institute has partnered with landmark local bookseller Politics & Prose to coordinate the event.

Description of Subject Matter: The National Press Club puts on an annual author's night, bringing in perhaps 35 authors to talk about and sign copies of their new books. The list of authors varies each year based on publishing schedules but I've seen an amazing variety of people there each time. Funds raised by the Book Fair will benefit the Press Club's Eric Friedheim Library and News Information Center, a resource for journalists around the world.
Bigger photos? To save server space, the full-sized versions of these images have either not been loaded to the server or have been removed from the server. (Only some pages are loaded with full-sized images and those usually get removed after three months.)
I still have them though. If you want me to email them to you, please send an email to guthrie.bruce@gmail.com
and I can email them to you, or, depending on the number of images, just repost the page again will the full-sized images.
