Nature -- Lunar eclipse
The full lunar eclipse was a big event so I went out periodically to freeze my butt and take photos. It was a clear night until my neighbor brought out his new telescope in time for the eclipse going total, at which point it promptly clouded up and basically stayed that way.

Nature -- Moon shots
Nope. This wasn't the lunar eclipse. That was the next night and I wasn't up long enough to even consider waiting for that one. I was just impressed the picture came out.

Wonderful full moon amidst moody clouds as well as a lunar eclipse.

Nature -- Moon shots
Including shots one night when I noticed that the moon had the light on the bottom part of it instead of one of the sides like normal.

Nature -- Total lunar eclipse
The last total lunar eclipse while we were still a democracy. The moon was really low on the horizon and trees were in the way but you try what you can.
