This is a hands-on museum with lots of interactive displays. I only got to see part of it after being told it closed at 9pm when in fact it closed at 5pm. The smoke dish and some of the exhibits were very neat and the kids seemed to enjoy it a lot which was nice.

Photography was prohibited in the exhibition rooms. These had wonderful items as well as informational signs. You could photograph the courtyard (and the cat) but Poe never lived in any of the structures that the museum resides in so that's somewhat a mixed blessing.
