You can see this section has a lockable door enclosure. This used to be where there had been a store inside the monument. It was removed during the 2011-2014 renovations. I remember asking the store worker where the closest bathroom was and he said it was all the way down on the street at the place you get the monument tickets -- it must have been pretty uncomfortable to work there. |
