Wilson was into motion pictures and is famous for endorsing "Birth of a Nation," the first feature-length film ever made even though it was about the birth of the Ku Klux Klan as a patriotic group defending southern morals. After his stroke, Douglas Fairbanks presented him with a movie projector so he could watch movies in the White House. The projector is on the left. |
