The end of the B-24 production line in San Diego. The last Liberator is an F-7B, a special model equipped with five photo-reconnaissance cameras in its aft bomb boy. In all, 7,501 Liberators and Privateers were built in San Diego's Consolidated-Vultee aircraft plant. |
