This cube satellite was the result of seven years of work by more than fifty students at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology in Alexandria. TJ3Sat became the first human-made satellite in history built by high school students when it launched from NASA's Wallops Flight Facility on the Eastern Shore of Virginia on November 19, 2013. |
