Existing comment: The arrowhead made of stone is called a "point," but not all points are arrowheads. The bow and arrow had not yet been invented in the Paleo-Indian and Archaic periods. Stone points in those eras were attached to spears and atlatl shafts, and some were not projectile points but were attached to handles to be used as knives.
