Reginald Marsh, 1943

Reginald Marsh (1898-1954) was an American painter known for his portrayals of life in New York City. During World War II, he became a civilian artist-correspondent for Life magazine. This watercolor depicting Army nurses relaxing is one of a series of works documenting life on a troop transport to Brazil.
