This painting by Frank E. Schoonover, illustrating Edgar Rice Burroughs' Princess of Mars, was purchased by Russel L. Hardy in 1952 directly from the artist. His son Richard displayed it for 60 years within his father's handcrafted frame. We thank Richard W. Hardy for letting us acquire this painting in order to display it to a larger audience. |
