- Comte d'Artois youngest brother of Louis XVI built the Chateau d'Bagatelle on the outskirts of Paris overlooking the Seine River in the summer of 1777.
- An estate for elegant entertaining built in only 7 weeks for a lawn party to host the King & Queen (Marie Antoinette)
- Bagatelle was a game for the nobility.
- It['s] origin was Croquet, it later developed into Billiards around 1517 by the artist & creator Henrique DeVigne.
