Here's the Mormon Temple itself. Begun in 1853, the temple was completed forty years later at the cost of $4 million. The east tower, standing 210-feet tall, features the Angel Moroni. Despite it being a tax-exempt building, non-Mormons aren't allowed to enter it because we would basically contaminate it by our presence. |
