Also shown is the key to Old Capitol prison for Mrs. Surratt was held briefly following her arrest on April 17, 1865, and a tinted carte-de-viste entitled morning, noon, and nice. This was displayed at her Washington home and behind it, authorities found a photo of John Wilkes Booth. This was used as evidence against Mrs. Surratt.
