MacGregor obtained autographs from the first provisional government of the new state of Israel. Led by Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion, this government took office on May 14, 1948. Minister of Foreign Affairs Moshe Sharett, whose autograph is below, succeeded Ben-Gurion as Prime Minister in 1954. |
