This Starship self-driving delivery vehicle, was observed crossing Connecticut Avenue on April 22. The company, Starship Technologies, is based in San Francisco but it has offices in London, Germany, Mountain View, California, and here in DC. In the US, they tend to be limited to college campuses like George Mason University. In England, they help deliver goods in the borough of Milton Keynes. I guess they're testing the waters, um, roads, in Washington itself. |
