In this portrait by Jon Friedman, Sreenivasan wears shirtsleeves and casual slacks, as if just finishing one of his lectures. Friedman's close observations of Sreenivasan resulted in a work that not only appears photographic but also offers insight into his persona as professor, scientist, colleague, and dean.
