The National Museum of Natural History's fossil hall ("The David H. Koch Hall of Fossils -- Deep Time") reopens this weekend after being closed for renovations since 2014. Although the Koch brothers, whose money comes from the exploitation of fossil fuels, have been funding climate denial "science" and politicians, the exhibit itself deals squarely with climate change. After documenting the five previous mass extinction events, it's not much of a stretch to see that mankind's irresponsible actions are leading to a sixth extinction. |
