Despite his massive screw-up in supporting the invasion of Iraq, I respected Colin Powell who passed on October 18, 2021. His State Department was the only major agency that promoted Earth Day during the Baby Bush administration. And having been deceived by lies leading up to the Iraqi invasion and the target of systemic racism all his life, he endorsed Joe Biden over child president Trump, who governed by lies, in 2020.
