In the series, tech genius Cisco Ramon (series star Carlos Valdes) develops Barry Allen's singular Flash suit at S.T.A.R. Labs. The actual costume, however, was initially designed by the acclaimed Colleen Atwood in Season One; in Season Two, it was redesigned by The Flash costume designer Maya Mani incorporating the familiar lightning bold emblem on white from the DC character imagery in comics. Designed to minimize heat, friction and metahuman attacks, the familiar Flash suit is modeled here on a 1:1 scale casting, created using a laser body scan of series star Grant Gustin. |
