Supergirl
Designed by three-time Oscar winner Colleen Atwood, the iconic Supergirl costume was inspired by the classic graphics of an early Supergirl, but made ready for action. The cape is attached to an undersuit so that it doesn't pull on the costume in fight scenes, while the familiar blue and red outersuit is made of "Eurojersey" fabric, ideal for movement. If you look closely enough, you'll see that the "S" glyph has been layered onto the costume with fabric ink to give it dimension and make it more visible in flying scenes.
