He also excerpts lines from Pedro Mir's "El Portaaviones Intrépido" (The Intrepid Aircraft Carrier), a poem that calls out the carrier's role in U.S. wars. On the right, Coronado records the increasing number of people of Dominican descent in the U.S. since 1965, implying a relationship between U.S. foreign and immigration policies.
