Max Desfor, Pulitzer Prize-winning photographer.
Photographer Max Desfor covers the Pacific Theater during World War II for The Associated Press. He photographs the Enola Gay crew when it returns from the atomic bombing of Hiroshima. Desfor is aboard the USS Missouri when the Japanese surrender in 1945. He also covers the Korean War, where he wins a Pulitzer Prize.
