Much of downtown DC was shut down on the weekend of June 13, 2020 in case of additional rallies and marches for BLM. This was Pennsylvania Avenue at 1pm on Saturday. The remarkable thing is how this compares to images taken almost exactly three months previously, at the start of the Covid-19 shutdown. The difference was back then there were still some cars on the streets. This time, pretty much none except for police and military vehicles. |
