1938, Series 75, Cadillac Limousine:
At the end of World War II, the US Army used a number of the series 75 Limousines manufactured between 1938 and 1942. As commander of 15th Army and (in December 1945) the ranking general in Europe, General Patton had one assigned to him. The cars varied little from the production models. They were painted Olive Drab and had US Army markings. This car had "flipper arm" turn signals and parking lights added to it. After the accident the entire front body was replaced with parts from a 1939 model Cadillac were made by Cadillac-France. Parts of the grill were locally made. This gives the sedan the unique appearance it has today.
After it was repaired, the sedan was returned to service as a US Constabulary staff car. It was later used by Gen ID White.
