The folks coming out of the house were there the previous night. They helped me find out where my car had been taken and helped me get a taxi to go there. They even thought about driving me to the impoundment lot but, realizing they were stinking drunk and the impoundment lot was a police facility, realized that would be a bad idea. They had never actually noticed that the area in front of them was legal public parking on weekends. |
