After getting socked in by rain, I decided to come back down again. Once I reached the town of Port Angeles below, I thought the fog was lifting so I drove back up to the ridge. While I was obviously an idiot to think it would still be clear by the time I got there, I ran into a park ranger who had parked by the side of the road. We watched an animal cross the road. Afterward, he said it was a bobcat and he said he only saw those two or three times a year. That was the highlight of the visit to the park for me. |
