Existing comment: Salomon ROom, today, 2015

Visitors to the Edna Barnes Salomon Room came to find a quiet place to work or read. When the building opened in 1911, this room was originally used as an exhibition space for the Library's collection of artworks. By the 1940s, the space was relegated for storage and office space until it was restored in 1986 thanks to former Library Chairman, the late Richard B. Salomon.
