Mario, Gilbert, and Jaime Hernandez, better known as Los Bros Hernandez, are three brothers who were raised in a Mexican-American family in Oxnard, California. In 1981, the Hernandez brothers gained fame by providing comic book fans with an alternative to mainstream superhero comics. Love & Rockets was one of the first comic books of the 1980s alternative comics movement, which explored numerous genres and subjects. |
