"Rain," a permanent lighting installation, consists of 4,000 hand-polished polycarbonate rods, 52 HDPE panels, and 32 steel frames. "Rain" provides light equal to or greater than former streetlights while using less electricity. The movement of light in "Rain" is affected by vehicles passing through the underpass roadway.
