This is a painting which hangs in the medical center showing life at the Walter Reed Medical Annex circa 1948. At that point, it was being used to treat psychiatric patients. Notice the water flowing from the fountain in the middle. This is the same broken fountain that can be seen in the picture of the Annex. |
