Existing comment: Natl Gallery of Art; East Wing

The East Wing of the National Gallery of Art was designed by IM Pei and completed in 1978. All of the walls are sharply angular and there are no 90 degree angles in the place. Naturally enough, the wing houses more of the modern art pieces than the more traditional West Wing does.

This photo is of the sharpest edge of the building (to the right of the main entrance). If you look toward the base, you'll notice a smudge or what might appear to be a bend in the edge. That's where tourists have discolored the wall by rubbing it so many times.
