Existing comment: In case you've ever been curious why some cemeteries prohibit "rubbings" (putting a piece of paper over something and then rubbing charcoal or a pencil over the paper to get an impression of the item beneath), this is why. IM Pei was the architect who designed the east wing of the National Gallery. It is his name that's been obscured because of rubbings.
