In their two years of physically and mentally demanding training, EOD students learn how to locate, identify, render safe, and dispose of all forms of ordnance -- conventional nuclear, chemical and biological, military & improvised -- both US and foreign made. The training does not stop there. Emergency medicine, tactical training, dive qualification and parachute training must all be mastered before graduates are posted to assignments with EOD Mobile Units in a wide variety of locations. |
