With a reputation that was more than a little problematic, Henry Kissinger passed on November 29, 2023. He was National Security Advisor (1969-1975) under Richard Nixon and Secretary of State (1973-1977) under Gerald Ford. His role in the Vietnam War was scary but it resulted in him winning a Nobel Peace Prize in 1973. He was also a key architect of opening relations with our good friends, the Chinese. |
