After consultation with Finley and others we believe it
necessary call emergency meeting art museum directors at
Metropolitan Museum Saturday and Sunday December 20 and 21.
Hope very much you can come discussion will be limited to
concrete proposals for emergency. Suggest that you consult
with your committees before coming so that we will know how
far your trustees are willing cooperate national emergencies.
