Gambrill Mill. This is the visitor center for the battlefield park. During the battle itself, it served as Wallace's headquarters. It was a flour mill built in 1830. In 1856, it was purchased by James Gambrill, a southern sympathizer. It produced up to 60 barrels of flour a day. |
