Matthew Podolsky
Matthew began shooting for his first film project, the hour long documentary Scavenger Hunt, while working as a biologist for the California condor recovery program. Since then Matthew helped found the non-profit production company Wild Lens, and served as the co-director and producer for the Emmy-nominated film Bluebird Man. Matthew is a producer for Wild Lens' documentary web series, Eyes on Conservation, and also serves as the host and producer of the Eyes on Conservation podcast – a weekly interview series featuring top scientists and filmmakers from around the globe.
Scavenger Hunt, Matthew's first documentary project, focused on the recovery of the California condor and the issue of lead poisoning in wildlife. The film had an award winning festival run in 2012 and was released by Cinema Libre Studio in March of 2013.
