Existing comment: KELLY KOZEL, design manager, worldwide licensing for Coca-Cola thinks "the partnership between Coca-Cola and Mickey is great. Both companies speak across generations. I still have my first Mickey Mouse watch that my grandfather gave me and I also remember drinking ice cold Cokes with him on the back step. To celebrate 75 years of fun with Mickey, I wanted to convey energy, fun and relevance of Coca-Cola. When I came across an image of one of our 1950s deliverymen in uniform, I was hooked. Historically the uniform is known for delivering 'A Coke and a Smile.' I partnered with Sharon Noh, Assistant Design Manager, to customize a 'fit' for Mickey. Our intent for Mickey in the Coca-Cola delivery uniform is to continue to delight folks young and old."

SHARON NOH, assistant design manager for Coca-Cola, grew up watching Mickey Mouse cartoons on TV and is "absolutely flattered to have been involved with this project." Sharon worked closely with her manager, Kelly Kozel, to develop the Coke/Mickey statue. "We wanted it to reflect the union of Coca-Cola and Mickey in meaningful and sophisticated manner," she says. "We also felt it was important to pay tribute to the history and the longevity of both brands. Mickey wearing the Coca-Cola uniform is a symbolic and a sophisticated way to reflect the partnership. I believe that our design celebrates the history of Coke and Mickey in a clever, meaningful way."
