Welcome to the Young Readers Center (YRC)
Founded in 2009 and part of the Center for the Book at the Library of Congress, the YRC serves children and youth through age 16 who are accompanied by an adult with a noncirculating collection of over 5,000 books.
Just one floor down and around the corner (G29), the center is open Monday-Friday (and some holidays) from 9:00am to 4:30pm, with games, puzzles, crafts, and cozy places where children can read or have someone read to them. |
