Victims of Bernie Madoff's Ponzi Scheme
Bernard Madoff's Ponzi scheme that defrauded investors of billions of dollars unraveled in late 2008. After he entered a guilty plea to eleven federal crimes, Madoff listened to the testimony of many people, some of whom had considered him a friend. Dominic and Ronnie Sue Ambrosino, shown here, stand and testify on June 29, 2009, about the loss of their home sale profits and retirement funds to Bernard Madoff's scheme. He was sentenced to 150 years in prison. He serves his time in the Federal Correctional Facility in Butner, North Carolina.
