Terrorism Trials
Mass shootings and bombings, whether committed by United States citizens or foreign nationals, motivated by religious fundamentalism or political goals, shocked the country with these sudden acts. Courtroom artists, like journalists, draw the likenesses of those on trial without caricaturing them or demonizing them as monsters for their actions. During the past three decades, reporting on terrorist events and the ensuing trials have been a consistent component of television and print news.
