For two hundred years, the White House has stood as a symbol of the Presidency, the United States Government, and the American people. Construction began when the first cornerstone was laid in October of 1792. The following 160 years brought multiple renovations and additions to the original structure. Today's White House Complex includes the Executive Residence, West Wing, Cabinet Room, Roosevelt Room and East Wing.
Throughout the duration of LEGO Architecture: Towering Ambition, Adam Reed Tucker will return to the National Building Museum to continue build this model. Check www.nmb.org to find out when Adam will be in the galleries.
Did You Know? The White House requires 750 gallons of paint to cover its outside surface.
