Airman 1st Class Jacobson, of the 17th Security Forces Squadron, was killed when the vehicle she was a passenger in struck an improvised explosive device (IED) and detonated, which killed her instantly. A1C Jacobson was returning to the station through a known insurgent area in Safwan, Iraq. |
