Existing comment: The fact that victims of the Johnstown Flood continued to be found long after the disaster is demonstrated in this article from the Johnstown Tribune dated January, 1890. It describes the discovery of William W. Mills, whose well preserved body was found seven months after the flood. He was identified by his widow. She and the couple's six children were safe in their Franklin Borough home, but William was caught by the deluge on his way home from work at the Gaultier Wire Mill.
