Existing comment: Pilothouse of the M/V John M. Warner. Originally christened the Jean Marie in 1943, the Warner was one of the first vessels to be customized with the special retractable pilothouse that allowed her to pass under low bridges in the Chicago area. The John M. Warner ran on the Illinois Waterway until December 1982 when she sank during a flood.
