Olive-green military-issue raincoat, c 1941-1944. This raincoat was given to Ernie Pyle by the men of the 34th Division, Company E, 168th Infantry. The roster of each platoon from the company is handwritten on the lining of the coat along with a drawing of the company's emblem. |
