Docent Information
* This Art Installation is privately funded by Artist Suzanne Firstenberg to memorialize those who have been lost to Covid-19. Ruppert Landscaping has generously donated designs and labor to make this installation possible.
* You are invited to plant flags in reflection and participation. If you would like to write the name of someone lost to Covid-19 on the Flags before planting, we have a Reception Tent where you can find the materials and Staff to guide you.
* Over 220,000 Flags will be planted in this green space over the next few weeks. Each flag represents a life lost. The number of flags in the exhibit mirrors the number of lives lost to COVID-19. This number is updated daily on the billboard.
* This Art Installation was created to provide a space of collective reflection and mourning. We ask that visitors enjoy the space, but please observe social distancing and wear masks at all times.
* The installation will be open from 11am - 6pm on Weekdays and 9am - 6pm on weekends.
* The smaller section of Flags in front of the large billboard represents the number of lives that would have been lost in New Zealand, a county who has fortunately suffered the least amount of lives lost to Covid-19. The number has been adjusted to show the number of lives lost if New Zealand had the same population size as the United States.

A. No. We have to adhere to the purpose of the artist's vision to maximize the impact.
[This restriction was immediately dropped.]
