The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Washington, D.C., the Golden Triangle Business Improvement District, and the Polish Cultural Institute present Hurrah!, a celebration of the hundredth anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Poland and the United States. Hurrah!, an urban musical instrument, evokes feelings of fun, friendship, and love through music and play.

Hurrah! kicks off the Golden Triangle BID's international art programming on Penn West, Pennsylvania Avenue west of the White House. This project was created by a team of Polish and American designers led by Polish designer and Pratt Institute professor Karol Murlak.

Hurrah! was first exhibited in New York City's Times Square as part of NYCxDESIGN 2019 and a partnership between the Polish Cultural Institute in NYC, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland, and the Pratt Institute. Brooklyn Stainless Steel and Evan Eisman Company also supported this project.
