Bolter:
(1) Conveyor belt lifts powder from graining machine to top of bolter.
(2) Powder enters the end of the rotating reel.
(3) As tilted reel rotates, powder flows down (to the left). The first set of fine screens allow the smallest powder grains to fall through.
(4) Powder grains continue to flow down the reel. At the next set of screens, medium-size powder grains fall through.
(5) Larger powder grains flow towards the end of the reel and fall through the last set of coarse screens.
(6) Sorted grains flow down through the hoppers and are collected in tubs. Grains that are too large flow out the end of the reel and are reprocessed. |
