Victims died cruel and humiliating deaths. Bodies were thrown into latrines and left to be eaten by animals. Victims lost their dignity in life and in death. Cleaning and "purifying" gives the dead back their dignity. "Care-taking" reverses time and makes whole again what has been smashed. |
